    This initiative combines Design for All with rapid innovation to address real-world challenges through interdisciplinary learning, critical thinking, and collaboration. By leveraging data-driven technologies and sustainability principles aligned with the SDGs, participants transform urban spaces into inclusive hubs for lifelong learning and community development. Through blended learning and innovation marathons, they foster open innovation while tackling health and wellbeing issues ethically, promoting resilient and inclusive local economies

    Participation requirements

    The selection criteria for the Education in the Era of Data initiative are designed to build a dynamic, interdisciplinary learning ecosystem that addresses real-world challenges. Participants will be chosen based on their interest in transforming urban spaces into sustainable, community-focused hubs of lifelong learning. This includes a strong motivation to engage with neighborhood issues tied to sustainability, community development, and the SDGs. Candidates should demonstrate curiosity about data-driven solutions and their potential for addressing local challenges using user-centered design principles. Additionally, participants are expected to bring teamwork and critical thinking skills, contributing actively to projects that combine technical knowledge and creative problem-solving. The program seeks a diverse group of students, faculty, and civil society representatives to foster a rich exchange of ideas and experiences. By anchoring learning in practical applications, the initiative aims to inspire innovative solutions that empower communities and promote sustainable urban development.
