I-LEARN – EELISA Innovative Learning Ecosystem and Research Network
Community mission
In the framework of the deliverable of EELISA Project for the WP6- Innovative Teaching and Learning HUB’ and elaborating with the project goals of launching a community to foster and implement innovative teaching and learning practices along with the associated support programmes; WP6 establishes the EELISA I-LEARN Innovative Learning Ecosystem and Research Network. EELISA I-LEARN Community aims to inspire, develop and disseminate innovative teaching and learning practices (ITLP), while maintaining a milieu of communication and exchange, to map and share the know-how on innovative pedagogies, good practices, support programs, thus becoming a test bed for novel attempts and activities for the enhancement of ITLP within EELISA, as well as European higher education ecosystem. The EELISA I-LEARN community also aims to map, connect and make visible the practitioners of the ITLP as the contributors of this broader ecosystem, not only to share the expertise, but also act as accelerators paving the way to experiment and to explore the ITLP through a broader research network that it creates. With the leverage of communicative capacities and the articulated knowledge based on the shared practices, the EELISA I-LEARN Community will further contribute both to the sustainability of joint support programs for ITLP, and the development of joint governance structures. Resonating with the UN SDGs especially the SDG4 Quality in Education, the EELISA I-LEARN Community acknowledges “the important role of education and lifelong learning opportunities for all (formal, non-formal and informal learning) as main drivers of sustainable development, for improving people’s lives and in achieving the SDGs.” Departing from this essential concern, the EELISA I-LEARN Community aims to prioritize learning design innovations on behalf of implementing student/learner centered pedagogies with research-based and co-creation approaches to analyze, identify and address the personalized learning needs of individuals in line with their career goals.Joint activities to be designed
