International Summer School at UPB

University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest is organizing International Summer School “Green and Intelligent Road Vehicles for Sustainable Transport” for students and individuals that are interested in developing their knowledge in innovative technologies applied to road vehicles.

The road transport is a very dynamic multi-domain developing area that includes different categories of vehicles. The stringent regulations regarding harmful emissions oblige all the vehicle`s manufacturers to adopt different powertrain solutions and to implement several strategies for achieving the imposed targets.

These approaches are carefully addressed during the summer school, together with technical visits to our partners and an excellent multi-cultural exchange.

All the courses are taught in English. They are held face to face in our University campus.

The courses duration, including technical visits: 25 hours

Fees: 200 Euro (50% of the registration fee for EELISA members=100 Euro)

Accommodation:  our university campus has dedicated rooms for foreign participant, please contact the organizers for more information. Other options for housing are available nearby, information upon request.

Travel and Visa: upon request, the Organizers will send you a letter of invitation to obtain a VISA. Applications for a letter of invitation should be sent to the Organizers before May 31st, 2023. Applications received after May 31st, 2023, are subject not be dealt with.

Reduced participation fees, travel and subsistence support

With regard to the registration fee, UPB offers students from EELISA universities (BME, ENPC, ITU, PSL, SNS, SSSA, FAU, UPB, UPM) a discount which consists in the payment of 50% of the registration fee. UPB decides on the final assignment of spots and fees. Travel and accommodation might be supported by your EELISA institution, please contact your local EELISA project coordinator.
