IABP Summer School 2025 on Building Physics

A three-day exclusive PhD summer school to support and inspire early-career researchers will precede CESBP 2025. The event is organized by the International Association of Building Physics (IABP) and the EELISA University SusBCC community at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. Topics for the summer school will include advanced, natural and sustainable materials; hygrothermal performance measurements and developments; an experimental workshop of diagnostic measurements in building physics; simulation workshop for hygrothermal modelling of materials, structures, and buildings; urban microclimate modelling; dynamic building performance simulation, and human-building interaction; energy retrofitting of buildings and clusters of buildings; natural ventilation and daylighting. Lecturers are esteemed professors, including Prof. Umberto Berardi (PoliBa, Italy), Prof. Jan Carmeliet (ETH Zürich, Switzerland), Prof. Carsten Rode (DTU, Denmark), Prof. Dominique Derome (Sherbrooke, Canada).
