Travel Awards for E|PTS Conference in Bamberg (20 min from Erlangen), Germany
Accommodation and travel cost support will be provided by FAU to 3 selected students, researchers and participants who are members of one of the European University EELISA institutions (not from FAU). We especially welcome members of the EELISA Communities “Advanced Materials for a Sustainable Future”, "EELISA on the Move" and “AI4manufacturing” to apply for this event. Only participants whose abstracts have been accepted for oral or poster presentation at E|PTS 2023 are eligible to apply for this EELISA Travel Award. Interested applicants who meet the criteria are required to send an e-mail indicating their interest in a Travel Award to Johanna Vogt (johanna.vogt@fau.de), after submitting their abstract latest by 15.12.2022. Award recipients will be selected based on the merit of their submitted abstracts and the organisers’ final decision. The winners of the Travel Award will be notified via email along with the notification of acceptance of abstracts on 15.01.2022 and the results will be posted on the conference website later on.
ABOUT E|PTS
Increasing power consumption, CO₂ reduction, growing urbanization and mobility combined with progressing automation and digitalization – all of these future megatrends are impossible without efficient production technologies and systems. The electrification of powertrains in all kinds of mobility is considered crucial, as the whole mobility sector is facing difficulties resulting from the substitution of conventional propulsion technologies. Besides advancing ideas on the design of new propulsion technologies, the organization of the manufacturing processes and systems is of utmost importance.
The CIRP sponsored Conference on Production Technologies and Systems for E-Mobility offers an outstanding platform for the exchange of experiences from developers, researchers and potential users.
The focus of the conference is set on the presentation of highly innovative products from various industries as well as manufacturing processes and strategies. Additionally there will be an accompanying industrial exhibition poster presentation and an associated program.
