| Blockchain for Sustainability community is all about using blockchain technology to make sustainability efforts more effective across different industries. Our goal is to make processes -like supply chains- more transparent and accountable with the help of blockchain. Also ethical sourcing and reducing waste are our priority goals. We believe in encouraging responsible consumption and driving innovation to make european industries and infrastructure more sustainable.
It’s not just about the environment, we’re also focused on promoting fairness. By supporting fair labor practices and increasing financial inclusion, we aim to distribute the benefits to a broader audience. This technology also helps to track sustainability efforts and ensures that environmental standards are met. It will also contributes to the broader fight against climate change. In the end, we’re working toward long-term, meaningful changes that benefit society, the environment, and the economy. |
| WHICH JOINT ACTIVITIES WOULD YOU LIKE TO DESIGN FOR EELISA? |
| We plan to design collaborative workshops, hackathons, and research projects focusing on the both theorotical and practical side of blockchain technology to solve sustainability challenges. Practical side will include implementational activities. These activities will include real-world case studies on improving supply chain transparency, developing blockchain-based solutions for industrial aspects (like energy efficiency), and exploring how blockchain can enhance climate action through better monitoring of emissions and resource use. We also plan for seminars and roundtables. This will bring together academia, industry, and policymakers to discuss how blockchain can foster innovation and equitable growth in a sustainable framework. |
