DIGITAL4PPP (People Planet Performance)
Our goals: (what do we want to achieve?)
(1) research and share practices for improving students' skills and competencies to pro-actively adapt, learn, network and innovate in businesses' digital transformation context
(2) processes digital transformation to better valorise people's capabilities, but focusing customer, too, in close respect to the planet and the community where the business operates to increase and sustain performance
(3) build the camp for sharing practices, testing innovative solutions, and learning together with students – professors – professionals in companies – researchers to motivate students to become more enthusiastic and passionate in the research of engineering solutions in a Digital 4 People Planet Performance thinking
Our motivation: (why are we doing this?)
Starting with foreseen results in terms of business survival, business positive impact on the community, customer satisfaction and people engagement, in sound respect to regulations, processes are re-thought and re-designed in all industries and services. Customized solutions are researched and technology evolution encourages innovative approaches, new practices, customized tools, and testing. We intend to become more inclusive in terms of education and training (Quality of Education) trying to build a new paradigm in education, particularly to consider the student level at the beginning of the training and aiming to measure the performance at the end instead of the strictly framed skills in line with the foreseen subject, privileging the student motivation and engagement instead of the specific technical competence. Project-based learning and real problem-solving approaches are envisaged to increase students’ engagement and enthusiasm. Experiential activities are planned to accommodate students with supply chain improvement to avoid disruption, labour market challenges and safety and healthy working conditions sustainability, political uncertainties mitigation through reliable management solutions, sustained performance promotion through knowledge management, technology and innovation, such as digital solutions, quality – conformity – customer protection and regulations (Decent work & economic growth). Cooperation between students and professionals in a multicultural environment to develop cultural mutual understanding and acceptance skills is encouraged within the foreseen activities. Not lastly, resilient manufacturing within a full digital transformation of processes and services is targeted. -
