Entrepreneurship without borders
The Community will reunite people under the persuasion that one of the most strongly motivated strives the EELISA partners can do jointly is breaking down cultural barriers and crossing borders for fostering a common entrepreneurial mindset, promoting students, academics and staff mobility within EELISA partners. We strongly believe in crossing lines and meddling in our respective and wider research networks, in a joint effort to share and take advantage of each other’s strong points. We all have in place good practices in establishing, empowering, supporting, and exploiting research results through transfer agreements, spin-offs and start-ups that could be fruitfully exchanged among students and others participating in mobility programs. What needs to be done now, is to put in a common effort in order to encourage and to offer tools to our university students to stimulate the entrepreneurial mindset of young people and encourage the creation of innovative companies. This is also a good opportunity to explore wider and more challenging realities beyond the national borders, starting from undergraduate programmes, while at the same time actively contributing to the realization of SDGs
- 4 (Quality education)
- 5 (Gender equality)
- 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)
- 10 (Reduced inequalities)
- 17 (Partnership for the goals).
This community will potentially reach a critical mass to respond to the increasing attraction of university students towards entrepreneurial careers and raising awareness of entrepreneurship among the students by offering them more advanced educational tools. For our scholars, these tools will be offered in synergy with Unfolds and InnoCORE initiatives. The results of such activity will also strongly impact local communities and increase a rationalized industry development based on territorial need and real-time market demands.
JOINT ACTIVITIES WE WOULD YOU LIKE TO DESIGN FOR EELISA
1) Joint mobility programs for graduate, undergraduate students, and academics in order to share know-how and tools aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial mindset mainly among students
2) Joint workshops and open-doors for established companies and entrepreneurial teams to visit partners universities, incubators and accelerators in order to explore wider markets possibilities, establish partnerships and create networks
3) Participation in contests and pitch competitions in other countries through partners' networks
