The mission of the EELISA-Community AI4Manufacturing is to improve Europe’s mid and long-term competitiveness by utilising the opportunities that the technologies surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) offer in the field of manufacturing. We aim to integrate AI technologies with advanced manufacturing systems in order to create robust and resilient industry processes and develop new services and business models that these technologies facilitate. Our goal is to create sustainable competitive advantage by advancing the application of AI in manufacturing. We therein consider organisational, technological, social and economic factors to be at the for front of AI application in industrial settings.
