The main objective of the program in Disaster Management is to meet the need for qualified human resources in public institutions, local governments, private institutions and organizations and non-governmental organizations engaged in emergency and disaster services.

The Disaster Management program aims to raise successful experts in the field of pre-disaster planning, security and evacuation procedures in case of emergencies, who are solution-oriented and have strong communication skills, while providing all students with a general education in the field of disaster management.

The program aims to equip students with knowledge and skills required to enhance the capacity of effective management of disasters. Activities will include disaster and emergency action ateliers, workshops, and summerschools, with focus on constructing disaster management strategies and organizational action plans for the selected main topics, such as first responders' action plans.
