Future of Work

Working conditions influence the physical and mental state of employees collectively and have an impact on workers’ health and performance in the long term. The pandemic situation has called into question the previous work practices and the role of the office environment which organizations need to reconsider now. Organizations struggle worldwide to assess the employees preferred work arrangements and to align them with the work processes and office functions. Our research group aims to gain knowledge of the future of work – focusing on work arrangements and work environment.

As a first step our research community aims to develop a gamified method for organizations to involve employees in the process of defining the role of physical work environment and setting work arrangements that can be accepted by the employees. By using this method in several organizations, we will be able to assess the similarities in the created work arrangements and examine the reasons.

Every year we aim to set up new projects based on the actual problems of the changing and challenging world of work.
