Looking for EELISA partners for the joint call – AI meets ethics, human rights, and social impact

The EELISA Community Ethics, Social Commitment and Entrepreneurship would like to explore potential partnerships with technical AI research groups interested in participating in a 1-day workshop (afternoon and morning) for PhD candidates and early stage researchers, researching in the area of AI technologies and/or its applications. The topic of the workshop will be: ” Integrating ethics, human rights and social impact analysis in your Artificial Intelligence research”. In this activity, the community would like to foster discussions and debates with and among researchers on how to integrate these elements in their research, along with other legal, technical and financial potential aspects. If you are interested in exploring the possibility to participate, in any role (organizer, attendee, host or lecturer), please contact Jesus Salgado from UPM before the 14th of July, since the deadline of the EELISA jonit call is on the 24th of July.
